Malcolm “Butch” Rhodes
Malcolm 'Butch Rhodes is currently the owner of Next Shot Golf Services LLC. He is a class "A" PGA member since 1990, and is the first African American PGA member born in Michigan. Throughout his 30 year career, he had worked with golfers of all skill levels, including PGA, LPGA, and Senior Tour players. He's also had instructed NBA and NFL Hall of Fame athletes and celebrities.
Butch reputation has come from his contribution to player development. He has always been willing to share his knowledge and expertise, and to continue to be a valuable asset to the national, state, and local golf communities.
Leslie Grundy
Leslie was born and raised in Flint, MI. She attended Northwood University, receiving her Bachelor's degree in International Business with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Spanish. Her driving passion is to be a catalyst for positive change and sustainable development among communities comprised of ethnic minorities.
Leslie has been privileged with the opportunity to volunteer by teaching children in urban communities, working with Detroit public schools to create programs for underprivileged children. She has taught abroad in Japan, Germany, and the Florida Keys with Camp Adventure. She supports and partners with many agencies aimed toward empowering the children of Flint. She is the Founder of The Urban Initiative Flint Chapter.
Leslie desires to use her experience and education toward rebuilding urban communities. Her passion is to open a youth center for children. It would offer quality educational programs, foreign language classes, youth sports, practical life skills training, and workshops to assist with college enrollment. Above all, she wants to help children walk into their purpose and realize their highest potential. Leslie moved to Tennessee 2 years ago to help launch Color Me Golf and to expand her network.
In her free time, Leslie loves playing tennis, swimming, golf, traveling, and spending time with her only daughter Taylor.
